Harris Maintains Narrow 45%-42% Lead Over Trump, Poll Shows

Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris holds a slim 3-point lead over Republican Donald Trump, with 45% support compared to Trump’s 42%, according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll. The two remain in a close contest as the race for the U.S. presidential election on November 5 intensifies.

The latest poll, conducted through Sunday, shows little change from a similar poll the previous week. However, it indicates that voter enthusiasm—especially among Democrats—may be higher compared to the lead-up to the 2020 election, when Joe Biden secured victory over Trump.
